I just got this thing in and opened the box. WOW.

It is double boxed with a heavy duty double-walled outer box. It sports a real manual with nice binding and a complete set up guide that looks to be extremely comprehensive.

The parts are unreal. Seriously unreal. The tail gears (will have photos shortly) are larger than anything that I have seen on a 90 sized helicopter. I saw a video that stated the new T-Rex 700 also has larger than "standard" tail gears, so hopefully this will be a trend with new generation 90 size machines.

I could go on and on about the look and feel of the parts. The canopy with the rolled edges, etc, etc. I will add more photos to my gallery when I get a chance.

Bottom line is if someone in your area has one of these, beg them to come check it out. Better yet if it hasn't been built.

Hi,

and.. one more in the Avro owner club ))

Do not forget to post pics of your new baby in the Avro hall of Fames once it will be ready )

Seriously, you will love the building. Just be carefull with not forgeting to loctite all the screws, as in some steps it is needed just to srew slightly the screws and a few steps later you will have to screw them definitlvely. Putting a little white park on the un-loctited screws will help a lot, especially the ones for the cyclic cinematic and side of frames ( for adjusting gear meshes + tail boom adjustement).

Have great fun in building your Avro

Best regards,

Fabien

Hi Ryan, maybe you can record it and post it in good quality for us to download. I live and Spain and the time difference is a little bit complicated

Impressive

The live broadcast was very cool to watch and be able to call in and ask specific questions about individual parts of the build. I am looking forward to tommorow and saturdays live conclusion. I urge anyone who is interested in one of these kits to take advantage of the broadcast. It is nice on my part anyway to see how all the parts from the kit go together easily without any fitting or fiddling around to make up for poor clearances / tolorances like in so many other kits I have seen. The quality of the stream was pretty good too. Good work guys.

Very nice live broadcast of the build

I like the fact that you can ask questions.

It was very insightful broadcast. Learn a lot about the Avro

Just got back from Ryan. The Avro guys really got it right. It seems like they wouldn't rest until they perfected every part. I'll be back at his place tomorrow to attend the second day of the live build.
