Flybarless Rotor Head Systems > Maidened my logo 500 Vbar

I finally maidened my flybarless logo 500 last night and I have to report success. I was skittish at first and rechecked my settings five times over. It is actually alot easier than I thought. Looks like I was over thinking the set-up. Short of a bit of trim, the heli lifted and hovered well. The only item I noticed is that the servos are slow to respond to the stick movements. I am accustomed to the latency of my dx7 and this feels more lethargic. Is there a way to speed up the servos?

Thanks to all who helped.

Servo speed

You must have your setting either very mild or you have your radio ATV's very low...

when properly set up there is ZERO latency and in fact a vbar set up wiil make any flybarred heli feel like it's in slow motion...the cyclic response and collective pop on a vbar machine is incomparable to a flybarred heli.

Eyefly,

my congratulations! Had my maiden flight with my flybarless Logo 500 the day before... Due to very bad weather I did the mechanical setup 3 times (at least! ;-) and it works so well there is no need to retrim using the Vbar software until now.
There must be a thing w/ your setup because there is no latency w/ mine (X9303, BLS-451).
