Awsome job david. this is one sweet flying bird can you say holypop!!! the motor and esc and gearing all work together perfectly. lots of power good run time, and all the components are cool after a medium to hard run. tracks awsome flips and rolls very precise and fast but not to fast. so when i gear it up for a little more headspeed it should be just the way i like it. stock headspeed is running 1970 at 75% govner and 2050 at 85% govner settings. She flys as good as she looks!!

Good to hear you got it up and like it.
I'm still waiting for a break in the weather to get mine up.
This weather is getting ridiculous.

I didn't think i was going to get a break either. the wind howled all day saterday and untill about 3 on sunday, then like it was meant to be the wind slowed and i had time to run three batteries through it.

I have my batteries now, but my soldering iron died. I gotta pick one up today and finish my Phazor since the weather around here has been terrible.

Hey dan if you're getting a new soldering iron don't waiste money on an eletric. Go for the butane powered one's .Ace hardware ,or mac tool's is where i got mine,I have one that's 140 watts and can solder a 10 gage wire so fast you have to be carefull not to melt the connector, And that's only on 2 , It goes to 10. Anyways get that phazor up , the rest of your fleet will start gathering dust.

I finally got my Phazor 600 up.
It was still 15-20mph wind but a nice warm blue sky day.
First 2 flights were getting the ESC and gyro dialed in and then there was only enough daylight for two more flights of letting it rip.

This thing is a lot faster in everything than my trusty Stinger 50.
And I thought that my Stinger 50 was fast.

Me Likey.

I thought you would like, If your like me you probsbly have another battery or two on the way so you can fly it even more. All my other choppers are just fillers while I'm waiting for the batteries for the phazor to charge. If you want any esc settings I've been experimenting and have come up with a pretty good setup.
Here in northern minnesota we just got hit with a blizzard . It'll be a while before I'm out flying anything again.

Hey jeff did you check your pm's? You should have the same gear ratio that i have .So that means your throttle setting is to high if you're getting 2300 hs. At that throttle setting there won't be enough throttle to compensate for pitch changes. You need to be 2100 hs.Did you follow finless bob's video on hv85 set up?

Ha, we are not that far apart geographically.
You have been getting snow and I have been getting inches of rain.
Our flying field is under 6 feet of water, even the road to get there is closed due to it being under water also.
It looks like it will be another weekend of boats at the flying field, if we can even get there.

Well i guess you have it worse the I.
Always got to one up me .
Well I have a flight feild in my back yard, and i have snow plowing equipment.
So when the blizzard is over , I'll be out shortly afterward.
For the mean time this gives me time to work on some of my custome heli projects.
