I have a 550 and am still working on hovering and FF . I just ordered some carbon fiber blades and then realised they were 570mm not 550mm , can I use them ??? I don't want to hit the tail. Im running the stock set up with Kong Power 2200mah 25c batteries.

I don't crash ,just land very fast

i think thats a little big... if you have the long boom it might be close but its also going to drain your batteries alot more from swinging those... i would suggest e-mailing where you got them from and ask if you could swap

I was hoping they would be ok for practice. I am getting 8 minutes of hovering with the batteries and still having 11.5 volts left in them. I do still have the long tail, so I guess the tail will be OK. I just don't want to ruin my batteries.

i use 500mm blades.......i think most people would'nt use blades much bigger than 515mm

500s will prolly be less stress on batts n motor n such, with 570s itmight be easier to have a boom strike as well

well if your just hovering you wouldn't have a boom strike but you should check clearance for your tail blades... if they clear then just check how long you could fly
