Location: 20 minutes south of Boston Mass...

I guess I finally learned why it's not a good idea to fly in 30+MPH winds with a little 6lb electric machine..

I was doing some HUGE tailslides and got hit by a gust just as I was adding positive pitch

As you see...it wasn't quite enough though

Anyone need a single rotortech 550mm blade?

I have flown my T-rex 450 in 30mph+ winds, I was at an airport and a cessna warrior could not land because it was to windy.

single rotortech? looks like you got one and ahalf sorry to hear about your loss. sometimes wind is fun but 30+ is alittle high for me.

nope it is cessna
There is also a piper warrior. The cessna warrior is a four seater and is around 200hp

I took my check ride on a Warrior back in 1984.........but that's not to say I'm beyond learning something new or learning about something that I wasn't aware of ........
