e-BEAM Beam E4 > Found some bling upgrades for Beam!!!

The impossible has happened guys, as I found some upgrades for my Beam E4!!!

Got some microheli tail fin holder and tail servo mount. Now my tail servo rod is nice and firm. No more bouncing around when trying to setup my Hitec HG-5000 in rate mode.

Nice to know you are finnaly happy with the whole setup.

seems like a pretty simple fix

Does it makes a lot of rubbing on the push rod though?

At first it wouldn't fit, but after some modding to the balls and tail piece, I got it to fit straight. Also had to open up the tail fin holder a tab.

When I went to setup my gyro in rate mode again, I was still racing around back and forth. I then adjusted the sensativity to the rate mode, which fixed the problem. I think it might have even been that the whole time!!!

At least I got some nice bling now!!!!

Brovic, you are a real standup guy. You could have easily said your upgrades fixed your problem and sent a bunch of us on a tagent to get upgrades to fix a problem that didn't really exist. Thanks for your honesty! I went with the microheli tail servo mount just because it provides a real solid 4 point mount for the 9650. Not sure I really needed it. Bling does certainly add value, but you must admit there ain't much bling you can add to this bird!! I've never been a big fan of the blue, red, purple, etc anodized parts. On my older Trex 450's, I chose the grey metal upgrades and with the BEAM, the stock metal parts are - well - beautiful!! (for my tastes)

The RC Screwz stuff is really good, I haven't put them on my beam but have used them on other heli's. When my bearings start to wear on the Beam though, thats what I am replacing them with.
