What packsize are you using? It looks like 2500mA? If it is, expect very short flight times... I think 3200-3700 is where you want to be.

I haven't got much luck in my search for suitable packs, the best i can find is a 4s pack.
I'm thinking of mounting a trex600 pack up on the battery tray like it was on the 600, but it's gonna require some cutting of the frame

Outrage XP packs

I've been searching for some info on those Outrage XP batteries - How are they working for you on the E-Extreme? The price is sure nice, but I'm leary about buying packs that won't hold up under load or beyond 50 flights. Have you had a chance to evaluate these yet? Thanks!

Jon,

I hear the staff at HeliDirect (including some top pilots - i am not one of them personally) ran extensive testing on these packs for over 100 cycles with great results. i think you should be happy with them.

the pack hold up great. I personaly tested these pack. We ran atleast 30 cycles running them down 2 nothing and charging them back 2 100%. They do not puff at all. The packs i test now have around 80 cycles now and are still runing strong.

That's good to hear. The price on those packs are very attractive but so were Align packs when they came out - enough said about those. Did you get any in-flight data that would show voltage droop under heavy load? How would you compare them to FP packs for power? Thanks in advance!
