Vario Sky Fox - Benzin - Evolution - Xtreme > Question about Skyfox/Kobold internal gear?

Any trick on how to keep the internal gear last longer than 4-5 flights? This is my fourth time now the internal gear was shredded after about 4-5 flights. I followed the instruction to the teeth; there isn't much to follow. I tried my best to have some play between the gear and the shaft. Everything fits right in that there isn't anything that could go wrong. Any advice? Again, thank you for everyone's input.

Internal Gear

If you are talking about the gear box located next to the engine make sure you pack it with lithium grease that Vario sells. Thats what helps lubricate, and cool the gears so they don't strip out. Other than that make sure the lash between gears is correct. Hope that helps - Adam

What gear is it you're talking about? The gears inside the main gear box as the above post mentioned or the gear that's on top on the outside of the gear box that has it's teeth internal?

The internal tooth gear (40 tooth?), not the gearbox that has direct tail drive. Thanks.
