| Stefano, If you are fitting a new main gear as well, then you will have a little more space to work The metal helical gear is held on by the nut, left hand thread, and a lot of thread lock which is hard to move, as the shaft is tapered. If you can not release the nut and pinion, then you have to take the clutch assembley out It is easier to remove one side frame only, as the other side frame will keep all the component parts in place If you have to take the side frame off, post again, as there are a few critical things you have to get right when you re-build Good luck Peter R |
