They probably did it on purpose. that was probably considered to close for their safety and they scrambled your signal. Or they just did it cause they thought it would be funny. either way it sucks.
How bad was the damage? Did the reciever work after the crash?

Anyone want a pet rabbit?.............I found him on the road dead and I'm tired of hugging him

Happened to me, I got shot down by a U2 while doing a job near Marysville. He came out of the clouds and I lost all control. Good thing I had the venerable “Cracker Barrel” as back up or the day would have been a wash.

Where they or at least one Longbow versions?
The AH-64D with the "Cheese wheel" on top of the rotor head?

If so I would imagine they were totally unaware of your presence and they just knocked you out of the sky with pure RF noise coming off the Longbow emitter.

Other than that I would guess bad timing?

Unless they were hitting a heavy data stream I can't imagine one of the early models "shooting you down" with RF.
Best I can recall they didn't have too much in the way of radar jamming or RF blocking.
Just high powered transmitters in the UHF band to send data to the command post.

There are very few active systems on an Apache. I really would be suspect of them being the cause. What freq range are you in? The most air comm is UHF anyways so I wouldn't think that would be the issue.

Guys, where I'm at now we have them and many other types flying all around us and we have no issues. Although yours was a lot closer than we've been to them. We fly in a canvas hanger next to them. That offers no protection from jammers. There are aircraft that can jam us but they aren't close enough or don't excite the jammers in our vacinity. I'd second bad timing.

The beatings will continue until morale improves...
