are all align motors so dang coggy? (hard to turn, and noisey)
I thought my actro 32-3 was stiff...i put a pinion on one i just picked up on here and spun it. Once you get it to spin it seems ok
but just about slashed my fingers trying to turn the thing...

The Align 600XL 1700kv motor is not that way...its very free-wheeling. The 600L and 600XL 1650kv are hard to turn by hand.

cgbole is spot on. Just the way they are made. I am around a couple hundred flights on my 600L stock motor. It's still as "coggy" as day one. Only difference is that motor is really starting to come down HOT after 5 minutes flights. Can't really notice a difference in power but I fear that there aren't too many more runs left in this can. A casual search of the forums tends to support that that's the average lifespan for one of these motors....that's if you can get through the honeymoon period. A lot of these cans tend to crap the bed early on but past that they are reliable for quite a while.
