Now that the heli is officially on the site, tell me a little more about it.

Some points to discuss:

Why a .70 instead of a .91 to start with?

Plans on a combo with heli, engine and muffler?

Also a link to purchase torque tube tail in the future, maybe combine it with a combo deal?

CLEARIFICATION

Bat nitro series consists of a 50 class with 1.65MM frames the 60-70 class is the big block version using 2.0MM frames. The we have the 90 size with 3.0mm frames.
The designs in appearance look similar with only a frame size difference as well as drive & mounting parts difference.

Any of our previous design are adaptable to the new frames designs.

Ok on the frames. Are the tail booms the same length between the 70 and 90?

YES the booms are the same on the 70 & the 90 class at 24MM OD.
The frames are different as previously discussed. Some people are telling me that 2.0MM on the 90 is enough & 3.0 is more costly with a little additional weight.

It is my feeling that the the 3.0MM frames make for more vibration free & solid mounting system. In any case the 70 & 90 frames are exactly the same cutting so either will be available.

The 26CC gas will be 3.0MM for sure...QWW

Ok, so the summery is the 70 and 90 are carbon copies in every detail. With the option of thicker(90) or thinner(70) frames and the option of .70 and .91 engines and finally the many options of running 640 - 710 mains.

Very cool.

Then the option of running a torque tube tail.

What is the added cost of the upgraded tail system?

BLADE LENGTH

You can run 640 on the 50 class if you like...As far as 640 go on a 70-90 class that might be too little of a load on the motor...

I did pick up a pair of 660 blades in Germany last week for the 20CC BAT when I get the sample cut next week. I really think that blade will be better than the 640...we shall see..

Awesome, penny jar filling for a .70 BAT airframe with a .90 OS, 9452 cyclic, GY611, Align 2 in 1, GV-1, RotorTech 710s. Maybe K&B Dream Designs will have some tail blades by then.

It will be awhile to build the new heli fund, maybe during a QH summer special

Looking good guys.

PROPER GEARING

TO ASSURE PROPER GEARING SO you understand a 70 kit will normally be fitted with a 11 tooth pinion..in your case you will use a 90 & will require a 12 tooth pinion so please let us know your details so we ship the proper parts...
