Mine has the Guai H/18/H motor (outrunner)...How is that motor??

Mine also has the LONG (600) tail boom on it with 80mm tail blades and woodies on main (550mm), ESC (50A) and BEC with 7.2 vdc 850Mah LiPo.

The tail is as large as my X-Cell 50 (Length;but larger diameter and black belt drive), is this stock???

Any way to turn the head and main drive system to a 10mm main shaft????

i think the H/18 is a great motor, but you will need good batteries I run the flightpower evo 2500mah and I get 4.5 minutes of fairly hard flight, for just hovering it can be stretched to 6+. what frame and what gearing are you runing? you probalby have the long boom, personally I would order the short belt and cut the boom down or order the short boom, the short boom is 22.5 inches, it looks much better, but if you want to run 550 blades you will need the long boom you have, 500-515s seem to work the best though. do you have the metal blade grips? you will need them with your motor!

I got this as a trade and have order the entire metal head from washout up.

Trying to find out if there is a way to go with 10mm main shaft...another thing I'm thinking is that the T-Rex 500 head would work with this heli?????

you don't really need the complete metal head, besides it's expensive and comes with parts you don't need, all you really need are the grips, and head block. Helidirect has a nice flybar setup, and the arms are just for looks. but even if you buy the arms it is still cheaper to get them seperate. the gaui head is a nice piece. as for going 10mm, not worth it, extra weight and the bearings would not be easily found to accept 10mm and still fit in the blocks, besides the stock parts are plenty strong. and Helidirect has some nice aftermarket parts, I have their CNC tail and am very happy with it.
