| Mod, you shouldnt have to fix a defective product. I know its a pain to try and get it replaced, I just dont think modding it to fix it would be a good long term solution.
There are other mufflers on the market. The manufacturer who builds a better product will end up selling more product and rightfully so. I have never had a muffler go bad and have flown for quite some time. I would chalk it up to a fluke if it werent a repetitive thing. (some of you folks have gone back to the koolaid repeatedly
Maybe carry a spare for some thing, consumables, Blades, belts, maybe gears, spindles, main shafts. Hey maybe Align should sell thier mufflers in a two pack Or the redline 50 engine?
No Its a major part and has no moving parts(shouldnt anyway) Backup muffler would be fine it it werent used in such a short time. A lot of these failures seem to be very early on in the mufflers life, I mean mine looks brand new. |
