Nice dougie very nice I cant enter that challenge. I Dont have the skills and not gonna crash to prove I dont. But I do own a TG from my ECO8. I never used one before but toolmans got me thinking. Oh and doug I have come very close to that 350 flights no crashes I myself would rather come home from a boring flight then come home with a box of scraps from trying something Im not ready for. I still freak out nosein near the ground damn mental block. Oh and dougie and toolman did I mention nice flying?

Thanks

And do yourself a favor. Get rid of the pride and put the gear back on. Then you will get the training that will make your skills great. I still need alot of work but it sure beats a sim. I just sold my reflex sim. I stopped using it. It wasnt real enough. I figure by the time im ready to do flips ill get another one. Im not gonna sit on it for a year.

On another note....I had to repair my align charger. One of the cell charger lights went out. I thought it was just a light. No big deal. The first battery died at 6 minutes. Im re recharging all the rest now. Had to solder in the spare circuit board. Pay attention to the lights. Man i just got more batteries and now i need another charger. I guess ill put the money im saving on parts into buying another charger. Oh well in another couple of weeks. I think i can make this one go a little longer.

I never had the gear on, I just bought a lot of BCPP blades at $20 a pop I never used a sim either. I wanted to learn helis not PC Games. Just afraid the TG will become a crutch I just need more practice at the field instead of my sidewalk. But it sure is nice to finally meet a guy who shares the same feeling of sims as me. I moved into FF to break up the madness I can handle all orientations in flight, now I just need to back up and get the slow flying all orientations you have under control so well. As for your charger the cellpro 4S is awesome for $75 I have started charging 2100 mah packs at 3C with no problem in the auto mode it wont damage the battery.

I was just looking at the cellpro, I wish it was an ac/dc charger I could use the ac side at the lake for charging.....

DC is always easier to come by slider I hear tell of people that use pc supplies for their chargers at home and use $20 motorcycle or lawnmower batteries at the field or in your case boat.

I could always run a lead from the engine room off the deep cycle marine batteries but that would require work on my part...

You have no idea how narrow a 3' dock can get when you want to land. I wish I had the whole flight on there as I was buzzing the guys on the next main dock over. They didn't even hear the heli running until I flew over their docks....
