Sure thing Dean

The review was basically broken down as follows:

Flying: He liked it!! Says its one of the best flying 50's available.

Crash damage and costs: Looks like he's crashed it a couple of times and he is happy with the toughness of the frames and the price of parts.

Maintenance: He had some minor complaints here, like the boom mounted tail servo, the top engine isolator, really nothing major.

Wear/Changes in performance: Basically still tight and slopfree after 8 months of thrashing.

Conclusion: The Knight 3D is a winner

There are some testimonials from a couple other 3D pilots that are very favorable. Also a rundown of some of the upgrades and his opinion on those

well writen overveiw Jim-bob.
I like the quote from Jay

"Overall, I think the 3D is a solid, robust, and reliable machine, particularly considering the price. Cost of the common parts that get destroyed in a crash is very reasonable. And they fly oh so sweet."

I purchased the magazine and read the review.

Interesting to contrast it with the "long term" review of the TREX 600N.

I took my Knight 3D out yesterday, for the first time in three weeks or so. It now has between 50 and 60 flights on it (rough estimate). So far, no crashes.

I am not a 3D kind of guy (I do gentle aerobatics and cruise around inverted) , but I really like the way this machine flies. It goes exactly where you point it, when you point it, instantaneously.

The only wear, so far, has been one broken motor mount bolt and the ball links on both ends of the tail rotor pushrod (both need to be replaced).

My experience with the Knight Pro has been similar (except for no broken bolt).

Excellent quality.
