I figured this may be a good place to share some setup files for the logo 600?

I have been playing around with the vbars quite a bit lately and have found that setup files make ALL the difference in the world as far as flight characteristics...

After Speaking with Bobby Smith last week he was kind enough to share his setup file with me..

After loading this up and getting a set of Gohbee 620mm main blades I tried it out....WOW!!!! is all I can say...cyclic is VERY fast and yet still very stable...this overall setup file is the best one I have tried so far...figured you guys might want to try it out..

I loaded it into my gallery but am not sure how to post it here?
go to my gallery and you'll see the .txt file named 620 gohbees/no pump.

Here's my heli setup:

logo 600 3d vbar
Actro 24-3 w/15t pinion(running about 2300Rpm's on head)
Gohbeee 620mm main blades
95mm radix
9451 servos
9251 tail servo

Yeah Anthony I'm using the same setup and liking it a lot , no bad tendencies or pitching back and cyclic is faast but very stable when it needs to be.

A good setup is what makes a Vbar rocks.

Thanks Bobby for a nice setup , next I'll try it on the 500 with RT550's and 25mm boom.

Yep...

Actro 24-3 with a 15t .7mod HB pinion...Makes CRAZY power really...I can't really feel the difference between the 24-3 and the 32-3 that's in my other machine..

Yea Bobby has been very helpfull to me as well, Kudos to B.

Anthony with 15 tooth, at what % on your ESC are you seeing 2300 rpm and what kind of flight times are you seeing?

I ask as I wonder if 14 would do it? I had a 24-3 as I mentioned to you when you were doing the swap it put out more power than the 24-4 for sure imho, glad it is working out for you. I also wonder if you have had a chance to see what kind of amps etc it is pulling on your setup with a eagle tree etc...? Also lastly are you still running a 55-10-32 ??

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Shawn

I haven't been pulling full flights with this...as I'm still breaking in a new set of evo 25c packs...but I'm guessing about 4 1/2 minutes is my flight time on 10s 3700's

but I'll let you know soon ...as to what exactly I am getting for flight times..

I don't have an Eagle tree setup so I don't have any graphs or charts

I am still using a Jazz 55 that is modded with the heatsink...BUT...after about 3 minutes of pounding the ESC and Motor are coming down VERY cool..

I am running a 15T at about 70% on my Jazz to get the 2350...I'm not sure that you'd be able to get 2300+ with a 14t....if there was a 14.5T it would be perfect

I will try to get some video posted here very soon..I have a buddy that is going to shoot for me..

BathMagic...I just emailed that file to you to try also..

Looking forward to seeing that Vid JAG72

The harder you can Govern that 24-3 the more torque it will create

Logo 600

So I put 5 minutes on the logo 600 yesterday and it only took back 2300mah back?

I am guessing 6 minutes should be fine then on my 3700's...I will be trying 6 minutes on my next flight...weather here sucks so it'llbe a couple days..

BTW...I am getting about 2300rpm's at 70% flat curve with this 24-3 and 15t HB pinion..and it is making INSANE power

Bizarre most I have been able to fly is 4:40 that's with a 4350mah pack, I wish I had these magical packs everyone speaks of, lol.

Pack..

Yeah...it doesn't seem right but I had my timer set at 4:30? and then I ran over a bit...

I'll try it again though...something doesn't quite seem right about it...

I'm using 350mah - 400mah / minute on my setup. I'm still being kinda nice to it but the 80% rule(4000mah batteries) says I would get 8 minutes at 400mah/min.

More Vbar test flights...

Okay...So I have flown my logo 600 vbar setup a few more times..

and here's what I am coming up with:

4.5 minutes of all out Stick banging running 2300 on the head ...and the packs are only taking back 2560mah

My Roxxter 55 with vbar I can run for 5 minutes of all out stick banging with the headspeed at 2150 ...Orbit 30-12 with 600mm vblades and the packs are taking back 2650mah

So what am i doing wrong. Just took out my 1915-1Y and put my 24-3 in it with 15T pinion. 1st flight i did have 2500 on the head with 14 degrees of pitch which was nothing short of mind blowing...was brutal on the pack though. Dialled down to 2250 still with 13-14 degrees of pitch and really stick banged another 4 minute flight. Again, way too hard on the pack, put back in 3200 odd equalling around 800 mah / min. Still mindblowing but i think i'm goinmg to have to go 14T and try that. Not even my 1915 pulled that much current. Was definetly fun tho

The V-bar file is still the best i've tried so far

All of you in this thread stating flight-times, either bad or good, are you using collective pump or not?

(My friend raised HS but turned off collective pump and gained flight-time, wonder if thats "common" or not)

Another thing, I have two actro 32-3's that we where running on Logo's, no better then 4.30 flighttime, third actro 32-3 and we get 5.5min+ even running harder then the others... I know one of them is a "Max", dont know which though, but it shouldnt be that much of a difference.

I dont know, something is "fishy"
