StanC, the best way is to give Neal or Katie a ring on the phone or a small email!

I talked to Buzz and he said just to use the extra bearing block without the bearing and not to worry about the guide bushing. He said that if you used the new Sullivan stater shaft with the one way, the guide bushing has to be enlarged for the shaft to go through.

Hey Jim have you started the build yet?

Thanks,
Stan

Hi Stanc, I have drilled the guide bushing aswell other wise as you say the 6mmhex starter of sullivan doesnt enter.

I use the Sulivan Dynatron with the Makita 18v battery mount and must say its start my bird on every first turn of the starter attached a picture of it!

Dave

How did (or where did) you make that starter mod? Is it home built or can you pick one up somewhere?

Just like Climax said! you can buy the mount there. The bateries you need to buy separetly.

Think its the best way to start a Helicopter, due to his power! Besides that its super handy, you are not walking around with big bateries, cables, etc.

Regards, Dave
