| Hey,
Well done on your win of the kit, that makes a great return on buying the ticket eh.
Personally, if your going the Turbine route with the MW54 conversion then I'd stretch the model to Condor size using 800mm+ mains and the longer boom. As you need to buy the parts to convert to a 90 anyway, going that bit further will not cost you a lot more infact it will probably be the same as buying the 90 class parts.
The boom & tail drive are easy :
PREDATOR TAIL BOOM CONDOR 950MM : HW6062CH (Out of stock)http://www.centuryuk.com/Products/H...r+Spares?pos=70 TAIL SS TORQUE SUPER LONG : HW6063C (Just double check with Century this is Condor version) http://www.centuryuk.com/Products/H...r+Spares?pos=75
Now, we found the gear ratio needed to be dropped from the IC machine to allow the Turbine to spool up to a higher RPM, this helps with power changes in flight. I am running the 10T Pinion/Clutch Bell and
CLUTCH BELL ASSEMBLY - 10T : HW6013 (out of stock, sorry) http://www.centuryuk.com/Products/H...r+Spares?pos=21 MACHINED MAIN GEAR - 93T CT DRIVE : HI6058D http://www.centuryuk.com/Products/H...r+Spares?pos=50
The only upgrade I'd suggest is :
METAL ELEVATOR LEVER SET : HI6032A http://www.centuryuk.com/Products/H...r+Spares?pos=38
You will need to make up some longer boom support struts to cope with the logner boom, I have 2 sets on my model cehck my gallery to see how I've done it.
Main blades, for the money you cant beat NHP 800's and they are what I am using and auto's are great with these blades.
Any problems or questions just ask buddy. .
