Here is the procedure I used for the pound and flip fix.
Per the advice of M Zastrow ("Malorie", Bergen Rep);
Remove the part. On a hard surface lay a thin piece of copy paper over the "D" hole, and tap/pound gently using a light flat punch (large countersink) and hammer . The paper is there only to protect the anodized finish This will shrink the hole slightly giving a tighter fit. It doesn't take much, just a few light to med taps. You are just mashing the Al a little thinner. I tapped from both sides. Be very careful to put the part back on as straight as possible. If you made the D hole a little to tight you can carefully rework it a little open with the correct size hex wrench.
Hope this helps,
Brian (aka Giheli)
