| By the way do you hear the rising\falling tone before the beep-beep? Basically the rising tone is telling you the esc is being power up. the falling tone, available on certain schulze controllers (mainly v7 or higher), means that it's in govonor mode. After that, the esc will either "beep" when the throttle is 0 and now armed, or "beep-beep" if the throttle is at max (and the ESC is not armed).
Some basics to check...
1) Right throttle Channel? remove the ESC lead from the RX and place a spare servo in it's place to see if it's the right throttle channel.
2) Bad ESC control input? Remove the control lead (orange\yellow\white wire) on the ESC plug and power up. You should only hear the rising\falling tone, but NO final beeps. If you hear one or two beeps after the rising\falling tone, then perhaps your ESC is stuck on MAX or MIN throttle position.
3) Throttle channel on radio not sending the right throttle position? i.e. Are you attempting to power up on Idle-up? Is your throttle curve flat? Are your ATV limits "normal" on that channel? etc. One way to check this is to see the servo position view on your transmitter if you have one and verify 0 to 100% range and that it moves properly as you move the throttle up and down.
4) Are you using more than 8 cells? I believe this ESC is a BEC unit. Change the controller for one that has no BEC if you are using more than 8 cells. |
