I just purchased my first Quick Heli product, the Learner 30 sport version. I'm not a beginner pilot but recently i ditched my Raptor 30, so i needed another 30 size airframe for my surviving equipment. If anyone has any advise for me, build up issues or setups please advise, i always like to pick the brains of the past customers before i build.

No, They haven't lost all their customers, just some posters. I'll help you all that I can, but the build on a learner 30 is pretty much straight forward. The instructions have good illustrations and will walk you through things without any issue. If you do have some questions along the build, I will be glad to try to answer.

They haven't lost all their customers they have you,,just wait until you have a concern or problem and they accuse you of abuse or say what did you do to it,,,, and charge you for replacement that should be under warranty,, PS NO HAMMERS Please

So far the build is going good, i ran into some minor issues that I'm sure they will correct, Chris has been so far really good to deal with, i like the quality of the kit and how the manual is layed out. The canopy is excellent looking and appears to be very strong, the heli is going to be a little heavy, its built like a tank but that makes for a good learner, I'm just going to punch up the head speed on it a bit. Thanks in advance for all your remarks and advice.

Ouick Heli has come to the rescue, i called add stated my issues and without question they are sending me what i need, so far I'm pumped about the heli, it's going together nicely, i actually screwed up while putting together the upper side frames by installing the incorrect control arm for the elevator pitch, yeaaaa the super learner 37 uses a shorter arm and my kit came with a long one and a short one, i automatically assumed the pretty anodized blue one needed to go there but no it was the short black one that needed to be installed. This mistake makes for a long evening considering i had to take the side frames back apart to correct my stupidity, oooh and by the way the manual even states this. I hate it when I'm wrong!!!

the only problem i had building mine was i accidently put the lower bearing block in upside down and it let the main gear lightly rub the frame! this was my bad,and i didnt pay close attention to the directions, make sure the side of the blocks were you can see the whole bearing(the side the bearing is pressed in)face away from each other!.The only other thing i did to the heli was line the frame with split fuel tubing were the fuel tank rests to stop the frame from cutting into the tank. i have about 8 gallons on my .30 and the only thing that craped out was the one way bearing in the clutch bell for the starter shaft,and i have had some hard landingas and bounced it a few times like a basket ball and nothing broke! so it is built like a tank!

I can honestly say the QWW folks have helped me in every area of concern so far. I have had a few minor issues that Chris and John have been a great help with so far, i even talked to Irwin for a few moments, he seemed to be a very nice fellow. My only complaint is the amount of time it's taken to put this heli together, some of it's my fault and some of it's not. I will keep posting how the build is going, if i get my parts early enough next week i should be able to stick it in the air by Friday.
