Just woundering is it a good idea to use after run oil after a day of flying?

After Run?

I agree with 1UP, I would add that if you have a YS or similar engine that they recommend a certain type of oil-something to do with the pump parts, some oils may attack the diaphragme.

My fingers must be too big-what the heck is a "diaphragme?"

BladeRunner is correct about the YS. Use only synthetic oil in a YS engine. Petrolium oil will attack the diaphragm. Some use mobil one. I ordered after run oil directly from YS Performance. It's called Ultra Oil. Not expensive and the bottle will last you for years. If you fly often and you run the fuel out at the end of the flying day and run a popular brand of fuel you will probably not need after run oil. But if you dont plan on flying for a extended period or for winter storage I would recommend it.
