Hi all

I have a project in mind and I am looking for a speed control that will drive 150-200 amps burst.

Is there anything other than a CC speedie around that will do this?

Look what F5B flyers use, they're in the 150 to 200 amp region. I've seen CC 125s running 200A bursts for a few seconds (remember the 125 amp rating is continuous- you can get away with more for a few seconds, in fact Castle actually rates them at 160 amp surge).

Contact Castle Creations and get one of their new SHV line of controllers. The HV will go to 12s and if I remember right the new SHV will do 18 or 20s. I saw one at Monroe running 16s lipo on a 200 hacker motor the guy said 16,000 watts THATS RIGHT 16k.
