Just got my 450 running with it all sweetly tuned and new kong power lipos on board.

Tried to do my first roll, and, well, failed. So far, every time I have tried to do any 3D stunt I have eaten it. I can hover nose in just fine, do forward flight, but I think the park I fly in may be too narrow and Im all psyched out now. I can do these things with ease in the sim, so dont know what to do now.

Anyways damage not too bad:
1 bent linkage arm
1 tailboom gone
1 set of carbon blades gone
and some new cracks in the canopy.

But thats pretty much it I think- got lucky I guess.

Check it out tho- in the second shot, my finger shows how deep the blade was embedded int the dirt- about 10 feet away from where the heli ended up. Whoa!

Ever notice how crash rhymes with cash?

Three things required to fulfill your 'heli flying' desires.

1. Setup
2. Balls
3. Stupidity

One of the above needs 'greater' research or application.

Outstanding Work!!! Crashing is part of learning new moves. Try a loop before a roll. Just make sure your set up allows enough negative pitch. For some reason, side rolls are still harder for me too, but they look so cool in forward flight..>!!!

Enjoy, cause when you get done with crashing, and learning anything new, the fun starts to evaporate...

Cheers,
