I ran into a guy in a lhs that had this joker and I told him I was interested in it. He did not know too much about it and told me to make him a fair offer for it so here I am in need of a little help. Can you guys help me with what a fair $$ amount for this heli would be and exactly what model is it so I can price parts, availability etc. Also I thought that jokers had a belt drive train and this one does not. Thanks for the help

It's a Joker v1, v2 has the belt drive. From the pictures it looks the same as my Joker. The only thing I've had to replace was the esc and I upgraded it to a Jazz controller.

What is it worth?
Whatever you're willing to pay. Does it hover without any vibrations? I'd make a starting offer of $800. If I was selling mine I want more than twice that amount.

I think that is the joker cx. Looks like mine, but I'm not familiar enough with the other models to say for sure. If you go to joker-usa.com and email joe, he should be able to tell you all about it. I bought mine for 900 with and fs8 copilot installed but no batteries or radio. Looks like it has the actro 24-4 motor. If you list some of the other components like esc, rx, bec, etc., could give you a better idea of what it's worth. The mfs rotorhead on these machines are very nice.

me thinks its a maxi v1 with actro 70-32. 24-5 motor, need an overall shot, if its 800 mm blades I know its a v1, not sure what the cx runs but it looks exactly like my v1 except for the antannea

my thoughts bungee. which may not be worth much after a looooong day of shooting in Maui

That looks like a regular Joker CX. I don't think it has the long boom but like stated earlier if the blades are 800mms it's a Maxi, if 700mms it's just a regular CX.

Nothing special in the way of electronics. And it has the Actronic ESC which are marginal in 700mms helis so I would go with some of the low ball figures already stated.

Looks like it's in good condition.

That is an early Joker V1 CX. It has a 20mm carbon boom. All Maxi's in this era had 25mm booms and upswept tail. I would replace the ESC with something newer, but the heli should fly just fine.
