A friend of mine is doing straight 8V on a 7ch Fasst RX. No Regs but the Gyro servo. I talked with him last night asking about this and he said he havenīt had any problems at all and he has been using this setup since a month now.

He is using this setup in two synergies with 8717 servos.

Is that with a Lipo or Li-ion pack straight to the Rx ?

Also, how does he regulate gyro voltage ?

In this particular case he is using a Li-ion duralite 4300mah and a VR5203 Spektrum reg for the tail servo.

To be honest, I am switching right now to Fasst. If I havenīt done it before is because of futaba not supporting 8V on RX. I was thinking also in Spektrum, but now it is a fact, this guy is using 8Volts with zero issues.

Time for me to move to fasst on my 14mz!!!
