I dont know, probably about the same. The hotels are on 301 not to far below Summit, sooooooooo, 6 or 1/2 dozen I suppose.

Look for hotels on rt 896 in Newark or Rt273 in Newark as well. There are quite a few named chains in those 2 locations the 896 location is about 10 to 15 mins. from the field and the 273 is about 15 to 20 mins.

thats a tempting offer Ray, but I wound up going with the quality inn, I always thought we should concentrate our efforts on one hotel and fully book it with heli-guys, that would be interesting... i think...

Middletown is closer then 273 and about the same as 896. Further out of the way for those comming up 95 but it is brand new.
