Is that canopy already fix design for Odin 90? How much pitch range for Odin? Jason said for Trex 700 the picth range can reach 14 - 15 degree? How about Odin? Since Odin is is the first 90 heli that use esc as colling system and how about weight? Thank you Adey

why do you need to fly 14+ degrees of pitch? do you drag race?
the k3d can get more than that but unless you just fly pop and lock its useless. rooster and i ran all sorts of tests and 11* seems to be the magic # for pitch. great climb out fast response and no bog. no trying to be a dick but want to know why you think more pitch is so important.
14* + cyclic (lets say you set it to 7*) thats 21* in a maneuver. what do you run your cyclic at when you run over 12*???

only you have the power to make no difference!

with the right pilot 14 and 15 deg. is great, but for msot of us we tend to bog them Eye. The Odin will hit about 13 or so, depends on who is reading the gauge. But the ODIN weighs in at 9 lbs. so excessive pitch is not really needed. Plus with the added power fro weight and and no drag from fan on the motor it really will move very well. Thats 9lbs with YS,sb19,8717's on cyclic, hs81 on throttle, sparten gyro with 9256 rudder servo,GV1 gov,710mm rotortechs and 2 2000mah ION batteries. One for the radio and one for the fan.

14degs is easily available. but as rodney says its simply not needed.

im only running 8231 on the ccpm with a 9251 and spartan gyro to get the feel of how it will fly with "normal" gear. its still fast and crisp even on these slow servos.

im running a fromeco 2s2p 4000mah pack that powers both rx and fan together.

i have also been experimenting with the head geometry on mine which seems to be working very nicely and will be included in the stock kit.

its still on the knight 3d canopy whilst we wait for luke to sort the production one.

Sorry Rodney just asking, I also love knight heli, I fly knight 3d myself and love it . I want to ask about throtle curve but sorry it is not about Odin but knight 3d. I run +/- 12 on pitch and + / - 8 on cyclic, sometime get bogging, I use OS 50 hyper and Mp5, run 1960 on head rpm, is my rpm is to low? I'm afraid to run rpm at 2050, is stock blade holder can hold that rpm? Please suggestion, for throtle curve in idle I use 100 - 65 - 100. Thank for input.

crank it up to 2050. it will help it out. but depending on your stick skills you may just have to much. i run mine at 11and 11, with 6 deg cyclic and it works very well fome and most that fly the heli.

i was standing just to there right side when that was taken by her. Tal can fly pretty good.
as for the 2 versions i know the current one they are flying looks just like the 50 (all g-10) and its strong as all heck! Frames take a beating!! thats important to me since its a lot of work to swap a frame out.
its already so light i dont know if a carbon version would be such a benefit, its close to 1 pound lighter than any other 90.

ps nice hat Tal
