Hi
I had one of these for a while, they are like rocking horse sh$t

In the end I got it direct from Kontronik

TBH your prob far better off going for an 08 or 10 depending on what you want it for. If it's a 10 make sure you don't rev it past 30k (ie 7S max)

Wanted it for my logo 10 on 8S with smallest possible pinion (This when KC's spreadsheet was pretty much the word of the oracle

When it went poof I got a 45-10 but 8S takes it too high revs (Mike says 30k is maximum) I've turned the Jazz down a bit but it's not 100% happy.

Think for now if I was running 8S would go for a 08

If 7S batts were easy to come by then the 10 is good

If my batteries go boom I'll prob get some 6S and add a tooth.

Right now I'm running smallet pinion the 05 on the 10 was stripping so I tried the 07 gearing from a log14 but it's very noisy 10/140

Currently trying a 12T and Jazz at 60% to try to quieten it.

how did you Poof it ? was it bogging bad , last year I wasted a 45-06 by over loading the motor , it was on 12s with 710s on my trex , second flight , with 620s , it would still be flying , also even with 710s it still seamed OK , but the mags cut loose and slung part of the mags into the winding , sent it in with the reciet , replaced no questions asked after year and half

Hi Tony

Not overloaded in quite the same way

Pretty much the same magnets flaked a bit (I think that sudden "blade stop" moment might have had some contributing factor)

Cost me the standard 25eu service fee for a new 45-10 after some discussion with Mike.

I think the problem was I was reading KC to the letter but the Tango's do seem to work well at lower revs (25-28k maybe) especially with a logo 10 where it's a little OTT

My 45-07 in the MP is just awesome
