Vario Sky Fox - Benzin - Evolution - Xtreme > Vario skyfox questions

Hey guys, am looking at a skyfox to buy used. Have done some searches to try to gain some insite into quality of heli, but haven't found much pertaining to a couple of questions.
1.) what would be a fair price to pay for a skyfox with the flash fuse, all setup minus rx & tx?
2.) Is this a good heli as far as design? Would I be better off, depending on price, to get a different 60 size and up gasser/nitro?
Up to this point I have been into e heli's, but have started looking for a tried and true fuel heli to fly during charges. Any input greatly appreciated.

Hard to say what a fair price would be as you didn't mention what motor was in it, how much time it had on it, or if it had a motor. Is coming with or without electronics? If with, what is it coming with.

Pictures of the Flash would help as well, especially internal pics. Seeing how the wood work is secured would help you know how good the build was.

As far as design...it's a pretty nice design of heli. Easy to work on and some parts are modular in a sense and easy to replace. You have the option of installing a driven tail as well. Also for the Sky Fox are different types of head design to suit your flying style. If you're into aerobatics it's a capable heli. Also due to it's design it's easily broke down and fitted into fuses that Vario makes.

Thanks for responding chris. Got a pm from maxturbine and he took a look at some pictures and cleared up the questions I had. It was older with old style head and motor, not worth what the guy was asking. It was on ebay, and I'm sure it will be on there again.
