AC power for the Pilots

A Member just offered to bring his Honda 5000kv generator to the event (thanks Jim!) - to be used specifically for proving AC power for charging batts, transmitters, etc.

We are putting together dedicated tables with power strips on them - which we will have locked up in the shed... so we can keep your stuff safe.

Another club member has volunteered to stick by the shed with the key (thanks David!), to get you in and out of it as you need to.

The guys in the club are so excited... they keep coming up with more ideas for the event

fly times

What time on Saturday does the flight line open? And is Alan Szabo coming to this event?

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Registration officially starts at 9... but club members will be there and ready by 8 or so... to start the ball rolling. (the coffee will be brewed and hot by 8)

Flying is scheduled for 10... but we expect to see pilots in the air by 9:30.

We are handing out a safety flyer at registration... but basically we ask that you fly with a Spotter (and Spot for others that need one ), stay in your box, impound 72mhz radios, don't hog the flight line if others want to fly, and... Laugh & Have Fun!!

We didn't contact Alan on the event... so I am pretty sure he is not going to make it (unless he decides to surprise us...... and that would be a surprise ).

Bill - a full scale heli... How Cool Is That!!

I checked out the Enstrom website (http://www.enstromhelicopter.com) - so I had an idea as to the size of it... and we should be fine.

Have him give me a call on my cell - and we will work out the details.

Thanks - Brent

Hey Dave... if you are interested... HobbyTown down here has a Vibe 50

Just a quick reminder to those that may have reserved a room to get the group rate and to hold it in case they were or weren't sure they were going to make it - today is the day to cancel so you aren't charged... if you are not going to make it. I promised I would remind you here just in case anyone went that route.
