Not that I'm aware of Shiro,, that's one of the draw backs to a tuned pipe,, XGM/VGM

Are you useing any kind of rubber dampner on the boom between the clamp and boom???

Xcell: yes I am using a rubber damper in between. I am thinking of a new design, I will attach the support to the mid portion of the pipe and attach it to the frame. I will post some pictures later if I am done. Right now I am with RealHeli getting their help

Thanks Xcell, as you had noticed there is this blue damper which absorbs the sideways vibe and the up and down is handled by the shock. yes, I already did fly that set-up and it really works. no vibration manifest in the tail fins.

The rudder servo is a Sanwa ERG-WRX with Heat sink plus I attached an additional heat sink which can be bought in a computer shop. this is to cool up the motor of the servo. by the way this servo also works well with spartan, only that I put step-down though it can handle 6V.

by the way what's the octane content of the gasoline everyone is using into their Hanson 3DMax? because as I experienced when I am using 97octane content gasoline the engine runs hotter. What is the octane content recommended by Hanson? Thanks.

You can use any shock from a 1/10 scale nitro car and put the lightest viscosity shock oil and softest spring. currently I am using the shock of HPI R40.

My friend flew my maxum today and he do some side tictocs and chaos . . .all I can say is "wow". the heli with a pipe is really powerful. Maybe later I will post some videos on what the heli can do.
