Got it, like it, flys great. Very crisp. The machine work is even better in person than the pictures show.

one of my buddies just bought one. its real nice i especially like it due to the fact it has a little hole so you can lube the bearings in each grip. plus the machine work is very good.

can't wait to test it for him

I found the Kasma head for the Raptor when it first came out to be no better cyclic wise... looks yes.
But I found the performance is no better and that IMHO is then NOT worth the money!

I would like to see TRUTHFULL feed back as well, and actual pitch/cyclic range (with out binding)

Not what I found

it just did not have the geometry like a stock T-REX600...but if you add the metal parts to the T-REX head its IMHO better than the Kasama.

But hey if looks are your thing, Kasama is a good piece of bling.

Wow maybe I have mine set up wrong then

I had to back it down to +-12 collective and 8 on the cyclics though I could probably get 14 out of it.

You could get 12 and more than 7 1/2cyclic and still have the fly bar teater and not have binding as it turns?
I could not no mater what I tried but at 11 and 7 was the max and still have nothing touch.
It still flew fine but no significant diffrence.

T-REX head all metal 14-+ and 8 cyclic no problem cost savings about $200 ? thats alot of green backs for other stuff.

Just my personal findings mind you.

Maybe they updated the head in the last year???

Take care

Willie:

Are you talking about Kasama Raptor head or Kasama Srimok head for Trex 600? These are two completely different heads.

One for the raptor is overslung with few raptor parts that have to be used. Srimok is underslung flybar setup. It is a new design made for the Kasama Srimok 50 heli but they are advertizing as a aftermarket head for Trex 600.

Kasama head on the raptor is WELL worth the money. I have just the block on one raptor and the complete head on a Titan. Pitch range on the complete head is ridiculous with no binding. I had to calm the settings down as I had 30 degrees to play with and stalled the engine! The clamp design is 100 times better than the metal TT block which I found wore even with the phasing ring which doesn't clamp it to the main shaft as some people think it does.

$260 !!!

You could buy a new heli frame for that including NEW metal head....

that would be a definite bling addiction.

Reminds me of a joke...the size of diamond in a wedding ring is unimportant unless its on some one else's finger...
