e-Minicopter Joker > xps rx mounting

Just trying to get some ideas on mounting my xps rx on a joker cx. In the rx instructions it says to mount the rx 2" from anything conductive. I have a joker cx, so the whole damn heli is either carbon fiber or metal. Any ideas?

I don't have a xps system but i'm running an AR9000 dsm2 by JR...

Assuming they have some technilogical point in common, maybe you can use my experience.

I've mounted the main receiver at the same place they use to be (right rear side). I've used double sided tape and a velcro strap.

I've mounted the sattelite antenna to the top of the right frame side using double sided tape.

I have did some extensive range test using my Spektrum logger and have had excellent results. Even below the "what should be considered normal" that spektrum is recomending.

I had an XPS Rx on my MJ2 mounted just above the boom at the boom clamp. Worked OK for about 2 minutes before I had a mid-air. Coincidentally, the other heli also had an XPS Rx. I wonder if there is a 'pheature' of magnetic attraction in XPS Rx's. (Just joking Jim).
