The original ornith had a few weakness. They have all been adressed by John's version, sold here in the USA as the Tiger 50. The ornith was never sold here except for a small number of them that came before the Tiger came about. The newest version has a better head and tail too. Parts are ready-avail. and all the stuff is cheap. The ornith had a short tail-boom and was sold as a 46 size. 550 blades and no thrust bearings. You can buy a new Tiger 50 version 2 for very cheap money or get the newest extension of the design, the Pantera for less than 300.00. See his add on the front page. TimT

Audacity models, tiger 50 Pantera. Robbe buys these models from the same company, Hyundai in Korea. They make kits for distributors. They also sub contract for some others. They have a wide range of products.
Robbe has the distribution for ornith and a model called the Taurus. They have no sales outlet in the USA anymore. The Tiger sells for $209.00, very cheap!! Cheaper than an ornith was 3 years ago. It has a lot of improvments, clutch, gear ratio, longer boom for 600mm blades, better head and blade grips with thrust brgs. ect. ect. TimT
