I like that idea. I started out with Futaba, then added the XPS as an alternative to FM. I found out that Futaba 9C has some ccpm issues. So then I got A XP9303. Now I have come to learn that the XPS does not swap channels in flight. I thought about the fasst for my 9C but I would still have the intermixing problems. I could go with the spectrum but I don't like the extra antenna. So this could be the solution I need.
Rob... P.S. I don't like the look of any of the new Futaba radios except the high end ones.

Great! Thanks for the link. By the way, the picture for the FASST Rx reveals that antenna replacement is going to be a breeze, no solder / desolder.

Does it include the feature that some other FAAST transmitters can control you aircraft spontaneously without your wanting them to? (i.e. GUID set to all "0's". )

Anybody who puts a Futaba module in a JR radio deserves to be shot down.

Glad to see that Futaba is going to do what Spektrum has already done. I do like the way they have incorporated the antenna vs. what Spektrum did with that hokey cable. Choice is good.
