jrscuba1969...

If you did the AMA online, they should have sent you a confirmation email back. That email WILL suffice for proof of AMA for the funfly. If you did it via the US Mail, give them (the AMA) a call and ask them to provide you (again via email) a temp registration notice. I seem to remember someone doing that a couple of years ago and AMA took good care of them with no hassles at all. It can't hurt to ask and then you don't have to miss the flying fun!!

heya gang.. was just told about this event today.
I'm a newb from Sugar land never been to anything like this.
How much is it to just come watch?
I dont have my AMA and even If I did all I own right now is a Compy 300FP and a Freestyle 300FP so nothing really worthy of field flight yet.

Anyway was also wondering is there usually any kinda "swap meet" with events like this?

thanks guys
hope to see yall soon.

There's ni charge to come and watch. Come on out, you'll see some great flying (and some not so great flying ) and meet some great people. You're also likely to learn quite a bit if you are so inclined.

I live in Mo. City and fly out at Tom Bass regularly. If you'd ever like to get together and fly sometime let me know.

Creighton, I didn't know you'd seen me flying

USNAviationjay...as was stated already, no charge for watching and you can bet there will stuff for sale (I may have my Evo for sale...just haven't decided yet. I find it very very hard to let go of any heli ). Come on out and enjoy the fun, meet the folks from this area and just have a great time.

USNAviationjay, PM tprause here on RR (see his post at the beginning of the thread for a PM link) and ask him to bring an AMA app to the field for you. I'm almost certain you can apply on site and you're good to go (pretty sure we've done it before).

the heli bug gets everyone one time or another and well there has been many breakups and divorces over it.....

but heres a sure way to solve that.

tell her honey i can always find someone more fun then you ,but i can not find anything more fun then my heli's

disclaimer: im not responsible if you get a divorce or breakup, if she dont get it she's not worth it anyways and your better off without them. at least your heli will never say no......lol

I thought it was actually three crashes. didn't that second one count as two since it hit the ground twice?
