What's the deal with the 700mah battery?
You would think that with this type of technology radio they could throw in a bigger capacity battery.

I'd say I3DM's info is correct but the inference related to the 10C isn't. Basically the FF10 is a completely different package likely to include different PCBs compared to the 10C because its a tray radio. Which means no module access in the rear.
In any case conventional radios(10C) far outsell tray radios, most Futaba retailers dont even sell the FF tray models and Futaba only offers limited models...
All of which are reasons for Futaba to have finished the 10C first.
And we are only talking another 30 days not a year.. easy to see why a similar model might lag by a month.

remember this is a 2.4ghz radio...tx output is much less than 35/50/72mhz so perhaps 700mah isnt so little although I've seen the tx listed as 7.2v so that would be even few watts avail. Didnt the 9C only come with 600mah? Thats all my 8U came with.. now 1650 of course

crossup, are you confusing field-force(FF series) with F series? FF series are budget tx like ff7, ff8, ff9..

Yes, the 9c came with 600mah pack, but lets not forget that the 9c was first introduced when mobile phone came with monochrome screen and pentium 3 was fast.

Baby_Z has it right, I got my FF and FX's mixed up.
This is of course not good news for us.
So the FF is actually the same radio?

FF10 does not exist, FF is the name for old firmware of Futaba´s Tx.
Now it is called T10C, MY NEXT RADIO.

This is going to be my next radio aswell, I cant justify spending the ammount of money for a 12FG, but if I can get just this radio, module, battery and reciever, then the 10C it will be, I dont want 4 crappy 3152's thanks......

I want to know if all the futaba FASST recievers are compatable, I would hate to have to buy the 6014FS all the time when a particular model only needs a 7 or 8 channel reciever.

Does anyone know if its ok with the 607FS and 608FS?

the 10C works with all Futaba 2.4 rx's however, there are two modes.
7ch mode is 1024 resolution and works with receivers with less than
8ch. Multi-mode is 8ch or more and supports G3 2048 resolution.
The best place for official info and un-official speculation, is
RC Universe, Radio forum, Futaba support subforum. Futaba service personnel have posted module compatibility info, receiver compatibility and unfortunately three FAAST receiver issues, the GUID one, a voltage problem with multi-servos, and now a temp issue.
The Futaba site also has a nice feature comparison guide for all Transmitters including the 10C.
The Futaba service guys say they expect to have the owners manual posted
next week I believe, which should answer a lot of questions.

Ok this all sounds great, but what I want to know is this. Did Futaba put a slew rate on all the channels but rudder like they did with the 7C and 9C super that slows/smooths those channels down?

Today I ordered mine.
I did not ask, when are they going to be available ?
When I want to use my old module and receiver in one of my other models , do I have to install the old antenna to the radio ?
I use a petal tray, I hope I can accomodate the rear antenna.
Some of you spoke about it being 2048 resolution, today I asked the meaning of that and was told it really does not matter 1024 or 2048 , most servos today can not accomodate that resolution. ????
Will my battery fit from my 9C fit the new 10C , I bought a nice lipo last year ?
I am really looking foward to own this new radio...

Thanks,
Roberto.
