Mine was the same, you can pull it right off, it only sits on the pots arm.

A small dab of epoxy will sort it.

I wouldnt worry about it, its no biggy now is it.

Have this as well, the wheel is the only thing that looks 'cheap' on the 10c

Can anyone tell me if my 8 channel 2.4G FASST receivers will work with the new 10C or do I have to tear them out and change them over to 10 channel rx's ??

It'll be a bummer if I have to do that

Anyone PLEASE help !!

Thanks

According to the chart on the bottom of this page the R608FS should work fine in 10 channel mode on the 10C

Yes the R608FS receiver work with the 10c.
I flew this combination today in a Hawk Pro and a Raven 50.
Transfer data from 9c check and activate all mixing.
Flew great even the trims got transferred.

Here are pics of my new 10C (ordered from Ron's Heliproz), out of the box, next to the 9C and with the Assan 2.4 module and DIY antenna mount. also note OS91 connecting rod as a balancer - i love that idea (from a fellow RR member).

I also came up with a cool mod for those of you (like my friend) who dont want to use the 72Mhz any more, and want to remove its antenna from the Tx but dont want a big hole on the top of the Tx.

Get an old Futaba antenna (you can do it with the new one that came with you 10C but you might wana use it some day), pull off the bottom stage from the rest, and cut the end cap (leaving a 1" piece of the last stage on it) off, and then CA the end cap on the base stage of the antenna.

This is then bolted instead of the stock antenna, and looks much cleaner, saves some weight (72mhz antennas are quite heavy) and overall just cool ! Hope you guys like it, here are the pics of how i did it on my buddy's new 10C.
This could also be shortened and\or painted black to match.

Is there an upgraded battery for this TX yet? 700mAh doesn't seem to be a lot of juice. Besides, I don't really like NiCd.

The 700 mAh will give you more than four hours of solid power.

If you already have a 9C can you copy your models to the 10C with the CamPac? It would save a lot of time.

Can you use a 9C module in the 10C?

Yep the campac works and so do the modules. You just have to activate all the mixes/idle ups but other than that everything transfers.

Bought a T10c

Just to let you know I just bought a Futaba T10C and I love it. Everything and more I need and a great menu to follow through and make adjustments on the fly.

Highly reccomended. Pleased I made the switch away from JR. ( I was nervous about doing so!!!)

I just got my 10C and am very impressed with it. What I have not seen in the post in all the hoopla about the antenna's is that this radio will acceot the FSS 50 channel Freq module that was used in the other radio's. This is the perfect stepping radio into 2.4 You get a new 10 ch tx,new 14ch 2.4 rx and can use all your other FM and PCM 1024 recievers as well. One tx does it all. Most places are under $600 for it! The 2.4 tx mod and 14ch Rx is arround $400 by itself, that makes this deal a steal. I have a 14mz on 2.4, but did not want to use it to fly park flyers and lesser value stuff. Keeping the 14mz for the bigger scale stuff and Jets. I also get the 14 ch rx to use on my 14mz. Now I can keep the other stuff in tack. Futaba rang the bell for me on this deal!

Just read the whole thread.
Yes, there are undesirable points but for 600 bucks you can't complain much. Haven't touched one yet, but I believe this radio deserves $600. It will likely be my next radio.

And before I forget, I CANNOT believe how many redundant questions there were in this thread. If people had just read before blindly posting their questions, this thread would have shrunk to half of its size.

hi there,

i still can recall there was a post regarding this new 10C. it comes with the PCM2048 resolution.

here is my questions:
1. i just got my 10C. why i can still see the PCM 1024 printed on the
screen.
2. i am planning to use r6014fs and r608fs for my helis. which mode
should i use - ppm, pcm1024 or pcm2048? because previously i was
using 9C super. i use PPM for r608fs.
3. if it is PCM 2048, how can i select that? which rx is compatible
with that resolution?

appreciate your prompt reply. thanks in advance.

I think its 2.4G 10 channel mode = 2048 and 2.4G 7 channel mode = 1024

Since you will be using at minimum 8 channels, then you should select the 10 channel mode.

Sounds like an aftermarket oppurtunity waiting to happen. Custom aluminum 10C dials...
