I know it will never happen but I would love Kyosho to produce a moderately upgraded and updated Concept 30 with the original DX style canopy, and optimized for the OS37SZ-H.

This would be a great fun sport model.

I just know there probably would not be a market for it in todays 3D age .

Just a thought.

Would be nice to see the Old Concepts back, but it's all a bit rose-tinted spectacles I'm afraid. Modern helis are just better designed and better made. I look at the quality of my Raptor 30 v2 and then at a Concept 30 and given they were a similar price, there is no comparison. Technology and know-how just moves on I guess...

Concepts are lovely for a sunday afternoon putt-putt round the sky

Please help me find a Concept 30 Canopy

I am searching for a new or used canopy from a Kyosho Concept 30DX or SE. I am willing to pay for the canopy and shipping. Thank you for reading. Adam adam3558@gmail.com

Ron,

If it's a short-tail Concept 30 (DX/SE/SX) then IMHO your buddy is pushing it pretty hard with 530's. You can get away with them on a long-tail (SR/SR-T/SR-X). Really, you don't want to go over 515mm on a "shorty". 550's will get you disc overlap I am pretty sure, or at least a high chance of a boom strike with low rpm / inverted / low-g flight / heavy landing...

This said, I know a guy who's running 530's on a shorty and reckons it's fine. If you'r buddy's local and it's a long-tail then bolt on the 550's and see if they will work (check for overlap and clearances etc). I'd be interested to know how it looks. Caveat Emptor and all that though...!

This is my 2c worth but there are people more experienced than me here so let's see what they come up with...
