I havn't gotten there yet with mine, I have an Axi 2820/10, CC 80, Koolflight 35/5 BEC, Protech 5S 4000mAh, same servos and gyro, I am giong to finish the build in the next few days and will share my findings. I do have a question that you can help me with, I got my SE from a friend, disassembled the head to check it out and put it back together based on the HeliDirect manual, when doing so the head works opposite of what I am used to, pushing up on the swash gives negative pitch. The blade grips attach to the mixing arms on the leading edge of the blades, is this correct. I have looked at a few pictures of the ones for sale here on RR, and I have seen both configurations, I would like to fly the heli with its designed set up first.

Mine is the V2! I don't know if there is a difference in the head but mine requires the swash to be lifted in order to obtain positive pitch. Is it possible you put the mixing arms on the wrong side?? I would think something has to be put together wrong, but I am far from being an expert...

This is my 19th heli and it would be a first for me, the manual is for the V1.9, I will set it up the normal way, just had to ask, sometimes you never know. I will let you know what I find out for balance.

You can buy a series plug or make one, you need two male conectors(A&B), and one female (C). Hook the Ground from A to the Ground on C, hook the Positive from A to the Ground on B, hook the Positive from B to the Positive on C. Always remember to hook a battery to the ground conector (A) first, and give the batteries a few minutes to balance out, the performance will be better and longer. If you have a charger that can handle 6S you can use the series plug to charge both batteries together.

That is the same manual I have. I bought my 500 from a rr member with the head already built( I went through a relocked everything) but I am curious as to how that happened? Keep us posted.....

A friend of mine has a 4 bladed rotor head which started out bringing the swash down for positive pitch, but we simply switched direction of some linkage rods and it reversed. ( probally gonna cause him to crash)

trailing edge control on the blades gives raising the swash to get positive pitch..

I talked to Helidirect it is a misprint, they said they are changing the V1.9 manual. I finished my build today, the 4S 2200mAh that I am using for testing is too light, I have a Protek 5S 4000mAh that will be its flight battery and that seems to balance it out nicely, I had to remove the two battery trays to make it fit, I have two pics, the battery died on the camera before I could remove the canopy. Looks a little small next to the Rex
