I had a Volz servo die on me on the bench during a test so I sent them all to get serviced and in the end I needed two motors and a new board. If you have a problem, I can give you the e-mail of a guy who repairs the Volz servos for a great price and he does excellent work. He is a friend of the Volz company owner...Ron

The only way I knew the one servo was bad was when it just stopped working all together. The others felt fine and one of them had a bad motor....Ron

do you know how much air time the servos had on them before the failure, as I dont know much about Volz servos and their releiability, it would be a great shame to crash due to servo failure

Regarding the battery, Trexml, I'am still waiting for the Evolite 5350 mah... but I finally received my special TP5000-10sx Extrem V2 (10s1p 5000mah 25C continous) from Thunder Power. It is a long size I asked TP to do it as the brick won't fit in my Maxi Joker 1 (regular size of this pack is 84x45x164).
The dimension of this are 330 x 42 x 45 mm. IMHO, it should be the standard...

You can see here the size comparison with a Flight Power Evo 20 3700mah.

I first bought it for my Maxi Joker but I realize it also fit in my Henseleit 3dmp-e... I just have to test what the flight will be with 265gr more (vs the Evo20). Any opinion ?

PS: I just posted similar information on the Minicopter thread for Maxi Joker owner.

I'm hoping to save approx. 280 grams by switching from the 2s 1350 rec battery and the regulator and using a UBEC instead. That would allow for the extra weight of the evo lite 5350. What do you think?

Regulator you have + TP 2s 1350mah are both 97gr... I just scaled them.
The BEC should be 50/60 gr. You will save max 50gr

I will do some test with the TP5000-10sx Extrem V2 on the Henseleit... as soon the weather will, finaly, be agree.
Maybe before spring

I changed out the futaba rec to a spektrum 6200 and saved 40 grams and the ubec i'm thinking of using weights 20 grams and then there is all that weight I saved by getting rid of the antenna ...I'm getting there.
