Hello all,
I've been interested in buying an Extreme 50 carbon version, but with this great new G-10 pricing and RJX muffler, Rusty has me thinking...whats the weight difference between carbon kit vs. G-10? Anybody know?

How's the muffler loudness of RJX pipe vs. Hatori Bobby Watts version vs. Muscle pipe 5?

thanks,
Brian Rasmussen
Never thought I would want another 50 heli until I saw the extreme series!

From the last five minutes I've looked at this machine purely online and with one video, it looks good on the ground and in the air. The canopy is very sharp looking, and stands out really nice. You have my vote.

The Xtreme is a fantastic machine. the differance weight wise from the CF to the G-10 is very little, as in a few grams, sorry I don't have #'s. The real differance would be the look of the CF VS the black look of the G-10, and the CF is ridge where the G-10 will give a little during......... well,"crashes" But the Xtreme handles crashes very well to.

The RJX muffler is surprisingly well designed, after some time with it, i prefer it over the Hatori 522. Sound is relatively quiet and well toned.

Whichever frame material will be dependent on your intended budget and preference in term of looks. I am flying the G10 version and have no problems with strength at all, even thru 3 crashes.

Well Rusty didn't have to twist my arm...I had a nice chat on the phone with him today. I left a message, and he got back within 10 minutes. All his Extreme kits are 2008 stock, with all the new changes listed on the main RJX site. I was very impressed with his user friendly attitude and service.

So I should have my carbon E50 on Saturday, orange canopy, RJX pipe...my setup will include: TT Redline 53, Super stubs, Radix 600's and Rotor Tech 610's, Futaba BL451's, Fromeco 2600 batt. with regulator. I'm excited to say the least, I haven't flown a 50 for a couple yrs. I have flown Avant efx, Synergy, and lately Stratus. I told Rusty that I had no interest in 50's anymore until I saw the extreme 50...basically my mini Avant Aurora, still waiting for it after 1 3/4 yrs.

I'll keep you folks posted on the results with TT Redline 53 and current setup!
