Yeah, flying around sorta in control. Had made about 3 laps around the backyard when a gust of wind picked it up and threw it against a tree. Brand new set of blades destroyed. Bent axle as usual. Boy, was I having a time before that tree strike too!
So no neg. pitch with factory setup. Kinda got caught by that small detail. Might could of gotten it down with -3 or so I dunno. How is yours set up? Maybe I should start using the "better" radio.

With the factory setup you should be able to get -3 negative pitch. If you can't then you need to adjust the links to your servos. In idle up you should be at 0 mid stick. In normal mode that gives you negative 2 to 3 degrees.

Thats exactly what I will check next. I could not get it down for 3 or 4 secs. That was a quick $8.00+ I spent at Jags.

Ah just fly idleup +/- 10 degrees. I was there with you when I first started flying at a big field. Which is in a valley I got it up high normal mode and it started backing up winds got it I was about to give up till I said screw it. I gave full throttle took it up till it was a dot in the sky then pushed forward cyclic till it came back. Shortly after I started flying in idleup. It will cut wind with the best of them now.
