I flew my new Jive 80hv in a mikado 6003d v-bar with an actra 32-3 and 10s packs and it shut down several times due to over heat. I moved the speedo so the heat sink is facing up and getting a little air movement and although it made it 100% better, it still over heats. The speedo limits power as it does when your battery is low but when you land and shut it down, it will not restart.
Any way, Does anyone know of the best place to buy a heat sink and whatever i need to attatch it?
I wish i would have bought the jive 100 just to eliminate this problem.
Any way, it is 10 times better than the hunk of sheet castle hv85
I went through 5 of them and only had one give me 3 successful flights before it died. 4 of them died on the initial spool up.
Sure castle replaced them which each took 3-4 weeks or more.
Never buy a castle part again! Id rather pay double for something that works. |
