| One of the things mentioned in the manual if your a pilot that tends to land a bit on the heavy handed side is to double up on the carbon skid braces on the bottom side, this will tend to absorb a bit more of the hard landing and won't break the braces as often, it will add a touch of weight but not all that much.

We also fly the Rotorworkz G4 and Charley's skid design, nose down to keep the tail out of the dirt. I also remove the rubber skid damper in the front of my RJX Hurrican to give it a slight nose down feel and lifts the tail a bit.
