I have been flying a nitro raptor for awhile and I bought a cheap (80$)esky co-comanche twin rotor to fly in the house and practice nose in. My question is,after only about 12 flights it will barely lift off 2-3 feet.Even trimmed, fresh blades, fresh charge. Is it worn out already?

Now supporting parts dealers all over the USA

Dont have that heli but I would guess the brushed motor is only good for a doz. or so flights if like the King motor. Get you a brushless motor/esc and youll be good to go.

That is way too fast for this heli! Unless something else is the problem.

Check for any binding or rubbing of the motor/gears, etc.

Also, make sure:
  • your main shafts are not bent,
  • the blades are not damaged,
  • the "fly-bar" is not bent too badly, and
  • gear mesh is good on both motors.

A poorly flying heli will put a lot of stress on the motors.

Happy Flying!
