one of the guys at work today was showing me his heli, didn't know at first what it was 'til he got it out of the car, anyway, it was the carbon version, everything carbon with the bling...spooled it up, very smooth, hover was rock solid, tail in landings, tac turns, etc... bam, then it happened...he was displaying hands off hovering, when the heli ever so slightly nosed down, starting moving fwd, when he tried to recovery his thumb move the stick causing it to roll to the left, blades smacked the hanger floor, no sliding due to having skid stops, they did just that on the polished hanger floor, carbon blades cracked open like a walnut, weight flew across the hanger into the wall, just missed the Pilatus, flybar toast, paddles kinda ok...heli loked ok, but he said time to take it all apart and see what's bent, i chuckled, knee jerk reaction

it was very cool to see, that Trex crashed with grace, very smooth...

Tryan...can you show us how to crash gracefully?

i suck at this, but having the time of my life with it!

I don't know much about Trex crashes, but I can tell you an MX400 crash is truly a thing of beauty.

Tail-in hover; switch to idle; gyro can't handle the torque; heli augers into a concrete pad; brand-new 315 Pro woodies rendered into colorful toothpicks; head utterly obliterated; skids decimated; canopy cremated; pilot (me), pushed to the breaking point, grabs tail boom and commences to pound the rest of the heli into an expensive pile of glittering debris; immediately puts DX6 on the classified section and decides f*** these things - the emotional and financial turmoil is just too much.

The happy ending - no bites on the DX6 so I traded it for an RTF King as a last gasp of gas. I've been in heli heaven ever since.

This is not an exaggeration - I was finding pieces 2 months after the crash.

Pumping your fist and yelling, "COME ON!!!" does not increase battery charge rate.
