| Hi Andika, I apologize for not replying faster.
>We are on half of March and it will be available in your web store this month?
We're working hard to have it available by then, yes.
>1- SK360 are two axis gyro SMM inside a box ? specs, datasheet ?
The manual and setup software will be released at the same time as the gyro itself. Yes, it is a two axis gyro for cyclic (aileron, elevator) stabilization. It weighs 20 grams, and measures 40x30x15mm.
>2- what is the performance of SK360 axial gyros ? like a GY401 ? GY611 ? or DS760 ?
So far we've found the limits to performance are set by the mechanical setup, servos, and blades, not the gyro's sensor. The ideal helicopter mechanics will use digital servos and have zero slop in its linkages and swashplate. Also fairly stiff (but not totally rigid) head damping works best. The ideal blades have some flex spanwise, but are torsionally rigid.
>3- It will be necessary an LCD display for programing SK360 ?
It's possible to set it up just with your transmitter. But you can get better performance by using your computer, with the included USB interface and setup software. For most users, a computer will not be required for tuning the gyro at the field, just for initial setup. An external LCD interface is also in the works, as a supporting product.
>4- We must use a CCPM mixer for our CCPM helicopters as Spartan AP2000i or CSM Cyclock mixer ?
No, the gyro provides all swash mixing functions. It also has high-end functions such as:
* phase angle adjustment * cyclic-ring to prevent swashplate binding * rate-evening of the servos to prevent uncommanded collective pitch during fast elevator changes * adjustable cyclic dead band for steady hovering |
